VissoLinks Education values your privacy and data security. We want to inform you about the personal information we collect. VissoLinks Education provides free, unbiased, and friendly counseling and application services to students who wish to study abroad, including visa counseling, pre-departure briefings, and accommodation and flight arrangements. We place priority on our students. Using this information, we’ll:

- The goal of this redesign is to make our site and services better for you. Based on the data and comments provided by our students, we are constantly working to enhance the features and functionality of our website.

5. How we store and protect your information?
VissoLinks Education adopts the following organizational precautions to safeguard your personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized use, unauthorized modification, disclosure, and all other unlawful forms of processing:
- Personal information is stored electronically within the organization on password-protected computers and in database software that requires a username and password to access.
- You have the right to request the deletion of your data as soon as you arrive at your study destination at which point the data will no longer be processed.
- Access to personal information is restricted to authorized personnel only. Our Counselor retains all information received from students for the purpose of delivering the service. The student’s information is only accessible to the counselor, Operations Director, Regional Manager, and the Partnership Manager.
- All VissoLinks Education personnel are bound by a duty of confidentiality.
- Multiple backups are stored in a secure location accessible only to senior IT personnel. The backups are kept for no longer than five weeks before being deleted.
- Article 9 of the GDPR does not apply to VissoLinks Education’s processing of special categories of personal data.
- We have implemented the following protocol for reporting a breach of personal data:
- Identify a personal data breach.
- Develop an action plan for any personal data breaches that may occur.
- Assign responsibility for breach management.
- Security incidents should be escalated to the appropriate person or team within our organization to determine if a breach has occurred.
We will always keep you apprised of any changes to data privacy and security procedures, including practices and policies. You may however request at any time for information regarding where and how data is stored, protected, and utilized.
6. Request for modification, restriction, or deletion of the personal data
If any of your personal information is incorrect, you have the right to have it updated without any delay.

If you’d like your personal information deleted, you can ask us to do so. We will comply with your request for deletion without any delay.
